Temple Holidays (and Other Circles)

RAIN POLICY: For all outdoor circles, if it is actively raining or drizzling four hours in advance of the start time (by 3pm for 7pm circles, by 12:30pm for 4:30pm circles), then we will not be meeting. Information on rescheduled events will be posted here, or you can subscribe to the ARA NEWS list to receive notices.

Spring Equinox Ritual and Celebration

When: Wednesday, March 19, 7-9pm. Ritual will begin promptly at 7:30pm so please be early or on time. If you are late, please wait outside the circle until someone can cut you in without disturbance.

Where: Ripley Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Avenue between 36th & 37th Streets, NYC. Tenth Floor, Studio 10A.

What to Bring: Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to share after the ritual (if you are bringing a beverage, please also bring a few cups).

Cost: $10 (suggested). The Temple of Ara is a volunteer-based community. We welcome your donations of any amount, which enable us to continue hosting public events, especially in the colder months when the weather forces us to rent indoor space.

Beltane Ritual and Celebration

When: Wednesday, April 30th, 7-8:30pm. Please join us for an open circle. Ritual will begin promptly at 7:30pm so please be early or on time. If you are late, please wait outside the circle until someone can cut you in without disturbance.

Where: Cherry Hill in Central Park. Cherry Hill is most conveniently accessed via the 72nd Street entrance on Central Park West. For directions, check out the Central Park Locator.

What to Bring: Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to share after the ritual (if you are bringing a beverage, please also bring a few cups).

When: Sunday, May 18th, 4:30-6pm. Ritual will begin promptly at 5pm so please be early or on time. If you are late, please wait outside the circle until someone can cut you in without disturbance.

Where: Cherry Hill in Central Park. Cherry Hill is most conveniently accessed via the 72nd Street entrance on Central Park West. For directions, check out the Central Park Locator.

What to Bring: Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to share after the ritual (if you are bringing a beverage, please also bring a few cups). Percussion instruments such as drums and rattles are also welcome.

Cost: $5 (suggested). The Temple of Ara is a volunteer-based community. We welcome your donations of any amount, which enable us to continue hosting public events, especially in the colder months when the weather forces us to rent indoor space.
